Orchid Maids is proud to offer our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, we’re not happy.
For a Deep Clean, please clear/remove clutter, put away clothes and clear surfaces. For refrigerator cleanings, please empty the refrigerator so that our cleaners can have access. They will gladly return items back to your refrigerator once it has been thoroughly cleaned.
For a Move Out clean, please have all items removed from your home, including clearing out your cabinets and drawers. We are more than happy to clean around and underneath large appliances, but just ask that you move them for us first. Due to liability reasons, our cleaning teams are not able to move large appliances.
After the service, we ask you perform the mandatory inspection with your cleaning team. If you are not 100% satisfied with the work performed, our teams are happy to re-clean any missed areas per your request, FREE OF CHARGE at the TIME OF SERVICE. Note to INSPECT CAREFULLY: After you’ve done the walk through and signed off on the cleaning service, Orchid Maids services are complete. Any additional services will be charged accordingly. In an event where clients are unable or choose not to perform the walk-through inspection, our 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE will be considered null and void.
Pro Tip! For a move out cleaning, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you invite your landlord to the walk-through inspection with the cleaners. To be able to best meet your expectations, you can also send us a cleaning checklist from the landlord prior to your service appointment.
Cancellations
We reserve a time and team especially for you. We kindly ask that you please make any schedule changes or cancellations 48-hours before your service appointment. Cancellations or date changes made after 48-hours before service appointment will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. ALL appointments will be charged in full for cancellations within 3 hours of the scheduled start time. Since we reserve this time slot especially for you, the fee will be used to pay our cleaners that would otherwise be cleaning for another customer.
Additionally, please be advised that if our cleaners arrive and encounter excessive clutter, mold, and/or bio-hazard situations (such as pet excrement, used medical supplies, or rodent droppings), the cleaning service will be canceled and charged in full. This policy is in accordance with our Terms of Service, which outline safety measures and conditions where service may be refused.
Billing
An authorization hold will be placed on your credit card one (1) day before the service in the amount of your total balance. THIS HOLD IS NOT A CHARGE. Your card will be charged after the service has been completed and you will receive an invoice via email once this occurs. If your service is cancelled for any reason, this hold will be released within 2-5 days depending upon your bank’s policies.
At the discretion of management, if cancellations become habitual, we reserve the right to bill the initial cleaning fee minus all discounts no matter the frequency of your recurring service.
Safety Policies
Our cleaning company is dedicated to providing exceptional cleaning services while prioritizing the safety of both our clients and staff. The following policies outline tasks that are beyond our routine cleaning services or require specific conditions to be met.
Reaching High Areas – We cannot guarantee we can reach the high areas higher than 7′ ft. Due to liability & safety reasons, our teams are not able to climb on ladders or reach high areas.
Moving Furniture & Large Appliances – We’re happy to clean around or underneath large furniture and large appliances, However, due to liability reasons and to reduce risk of injury our cleaners are not able to move them. If you’d like us to do this, we kindly ask that you please move any large furniture and large appliances for us. Should you need our cleaners assistance, we will not be responsible for any damages caused from the move.
Dishes – We will not put your dishes away. We don’t want to stack things in a way or place that you would not want.
Laundry – Doing laundry is not an issue, however, it is limited to linens and towels.
Trash Haul – We do not haul trash or bulk waste. We will remove trash to its proper receptacle; however, we cannot take it with us.
Light Bulbs – We will not wipe light bulbs. This is very time consuming and the risk of breakage is too high.
Biohazard – We will not clean people or pet excrement or used medical supplies. Additionally, we will not remove/handle rodent droppings. This is considered biohazardous waste and our cleaners are not certified/trained/equipped to handle such situations. Also, our cleaning equipment is used in multiple homes and businesses, and we wish to avoid cross-contamination.
Exterior Window Cleaning – Window/s should be accessible via 2-3 step ladder. Due to liability & safety reasons, our teams are not able to climb on ladders or reach high areas. Exterior window cleaning is included on sliding glass windows and single/double hung windows that tilt in for easy access to clean.
Screen Cleaning – We request that the customer remove screens for our cleaners. Due to liability reasons our teams are not be able to detach and / or install window screens.
Pets – We love animals; however, in order to do a proper clean and to ensure the safety of your pets and our cleaners, please have your pets safely put away to avoid any issues.
Stain and Mold Removal (grout) – We cannot guarantee removal of all stains and mold on grout and tile inside the bathroom and kitchen. However, will try our best to remove stains.
Mold – Mold remediation requires specialized expertise and equipment, which our company does not possess. Our staff is instructed to avoid cleaning areas affected by mold. They are not trained to identify or determine the extent of mold contamination. If mold is suspected or observed during a cleaning session, you will be promptly notified, and we will not remediate.
